Email confirmations get missed. WhatsApp messages get read. Book with Schedulo sends booking confirmations and reminders through the official WhatsApp Business Platform, using pre-approved message templates, straight to your guest's phone.
What gets sent
- Booking confirmation. Sent immediately after a booking, with the guest's name, host's name, and the date and time shown in the host's local timezone.
- Reminder. Sent ahead of the meeting with a Join Meeting button that opens the real Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams link directly — or a Reschedule button if the guest needs to change the time.
- Cancellation notice. Sent automatically if a booking is canceled.
How to enable WhatsApp reminders
Open Integrations in your Book with Schedulo dashboard and toggle on WhatsApp under the Messaging section. Guests then see a WhatsApp opt-in checkbox on your booking page — messages are only sent to guests who explicitly opt in, and only for hosts who've enabled WhatsApp.
Who it's for
Any host whose no-show rate matters — consultants, coaches, healthcare and wellness practitioners, and sales teams — and especially useful in India and other markets where WhatsApp is the primary messaging channel, more reliably checked than email.
Why people search for WhatsApp appointment reminders
Email open rates for reminders are inconsistent, and SMS is often filtered as spam. WhatsApp Business messages using approved templates land directly in a conversation guests already check daily, with a button that opens the actual meeting link — not just a reminder to check email.
